Conductor
DEMETRIO MORICCA
Demetrio Moricca, approaches the world of music at the age of 4 years. Assistant Conductor at the "La Sapienza" University of Rome.
He recently made his debut (November 2021) in the prestigious Tokyo Opera City Hall in a Gala Opera with the tenor Stefan Pop and, also in Tokyo, he conducted L 'Elisir d'amore by G. Donizetti.
Finalist for the Premio "Antonino Votto" in 2019 and he has received a Special Commendation lately at the London Classical Soloists Conducting Competition and winner of the
scholarship A.R.E.C. Campania for artistic merits in the A.Y. 2015/2016.
He has been assistant of Maestro Nello Santi in several productions (La Traviata, Rigoletto, Nabucco, L'Elisir d'amore), of Maestro Sesto Quatrini in the production of Tosca (Fondazione Teatri di Piacenza) with an exceptional cast (Francesco Meli, Luca Salsi, Chiara Isotton).
