Bio

Assistant Conductor at the La Sapienza University of Rome from 2021.

He made his debut (November 2021) in the prestigious Tokyo Opera City Hall in a Gala Opera with the tenor Stefan Pop and, in Shibuya Cultural Center Owada , he conducted L 'Elisir d'amore by G. Donizetti, enjoying great success with audiences and critics.

In October 2022 he was again invited to Japan in Osaka and Tokyo, for two Opera galas with soloists such as Stefan Pop, Hiromi Omura at Bunkamura, Orchard Hall.
In March 2023 he was invited for the third time to Japan for a production of Cavalleria rusticana in Tokyo and Osaka.

Finalist for the Premio "Antonino Votto" in 2019, semifinalist at 3er Concurso Internacional de Dirección de Orquesta “Universidad de Almería” , finalist for Riccardo Muti Opera Academy 2023, Special Commendation at the London Classical Soloists Conducting Competition and winner of the

scholarship A.R.E.C. Campania for artistic merits in the A.Y. 2015/2016.

He has been assistant of Maestro Nello Santi in several productions (La Traviata, Rigoletto, Nabucco, L'Elisir d'amore, Lucia di Lammermoor), of Maestro Sesto Quatrini in the production of Tosca (Fondazione Teatri di Piacenza) with an exceptional cast (Francesco Meli, Luca Salsi, Chiara Isotton).

He has conducted orchestras such as Osaka Symphony Orchestra, Pacific Philharmonia Tokyo, Grand Philharmonic Tokyo, Cardiff Sinfonietta, Malta Philharmonic Orchestra, Orchestra Cupiditas, U.S. Naval Forces Europe Band, Opera na Zamku, San Pietro a Majella Orchestra, London Classical Soloists and he has collaborated with Ravello Festival, Napoli Teatro Festival, Salvabelcanto Association Japan.

He has collaborated with internationally renowned soloists such as Stefan Pop, Hiromi Omura, Yurie Takano, Mariano Buccino, Clarissa Costanzo, Angela Schisano and directors such as Roberto de Simone e Mariano Bauduin.

He studied with Riccardo Muti, Riccardo Frizza, Mark Stringer, Mark Heron, Clark Rundell and Gergely Madaras.

He began his studies as a clarinetist and graduated with honors in Orchestral Conducting at the Conservatory of San Pietro a Majella in Naples (Italy) under Maestri Francesco Vizioli and Enrico Renna.

He has conducted various operas of Neapolitan eighteenth century succ as, L'Uccellatrice by N. Jommelli and Festa Teatrale by G. Paisiello.

In 2018 he founded an ensemble, Megaride Ensemble, with talented members of the territory. The good work and tenacity of the Ensemble brought them immediately to perform at the Ravello Festival 2019, Nuova Orchestra Scarlatti, Sala Scarlatti.
